The first of four Intrepids built. Refer to Intrepid GTP –Chassis 003 for information and technical specifications. Chassis 001 finished on December 13, 1990. It was first raced at West Palm Beach, March 3, 1991 where it finished 2nd driven by Wayne Taylor. Chassis 001 won the New Orleans IMSA GTP race in June 16, 1991 driven by Wayne Taylor. The car is presently setup cosmetically and electronically as raced in the IMSA GTP championship in 1993.
